How can I avail of the Payong ni Juan Membership plan?
Here is how easy to have a Payong ni Juan membership:

  1. Login to payongnijuan.com.
  2. To add the membership plan you wish to avail, click on “Add to Cart”. To change the quantity, change the number in the box under “Quantity”.
  1. Review the quantity/units and the Plan Option you added in your cart by clicking on “Cart” at the main menu. You can still make changes on your cart/order.
  2. Check your cart/order again and chose your option on how you want to receive your membership kit/s. If you wish to receive a physical copy of your kit/s, please click on “Email and Physical Copy”. Shipping fee shall apply. Otherwise, if you need soft copies only, click on “Email Only”.
  1. Check the total amount you need to pay. Once you are ready to place the order and proceed with the payment, click on “Proceed to Check Out”.
  2. Please do not forget to read the Important Reminder/Insurance Exclusions.
  3. You shall then be directed to a form of the basic information we require to process your order. Fill out the form correctly and completely.
  4. Once form is completed, proceed to PayPal payment. You can also pay using your credit card or debit card even if you do not have a PayPal account.
  5. Once you have completed your payment and have placed your order, you will then receive an email of your Order Confirmation and Activation within 24 hours. We will ask you to activate the membership within 15 days.

 Once membership is activated, you will receive an email of the membership kit.

Who are acceptable to avail of the Payong ni Juan membership?
Filipino citizens who are 18-69 years old upon enrollment are acceptable to this membership and its benefits.

I am not a Filipino citizen, but I wish to gift a Filipino citizen friend.
Yes, you can purchase a membership and activate it under the name of your Filipino friend, relative or loved one.

For how long do I need to pay the membership?
To keep your membership and enjoy the corresponding benefits, you may choose to renew your membership yearly or for as long as you want to keep your membership. But please note that your acceptance is up to age 69 only and your membership will automatically terminate upon your attainment of age 70.

What are the requirements that I need to submit?
There are no other documents needed aside from the Activation/Enrollment Form which requires the proposed member’s information as basis for the issuance of the benefits and one (1) valid ID. Valid ID shall be any Philippine government ID that shows the birth date and picture.

This is our way of checking if the birthday is correct (sometimes dates and year are overlooked) and to eliminate further refund and amendment if a member is found to be not acceptable due to age.

I wish to gift my former driver who is now 69 years and three (3) months old, is he still acceptable?
Yes, he is still acceptable but for the next nine (9) months only. His membership terminates upon his attainment of age 70.

When does the benefit of my membership take effect?

After our verification of the enrollment form/s, we will send the membership kit/s via email within 24 hours from activation. The Effective Date of the membership shall either be the 15th or 30th day of the month as per dates below:

The effective date is stated in your Certificate of Membership.

I purchased two (2) membership units/quantity, can I gift the other one?

Yes, you may purchase one (1) or more membership units (in terms of quantity). You may activate one under your name and the other membership units under the name of your loved ones, a family member or a friend so that they also get protected and can avail of the benefits/services of the Payong ni Juan membership.

But remember that one (1) person can have only one (1) membership unit activated in his name. So, again review the amount of protection you need before placing an order. The higher the membership plan, the higher your protection is!

Could I still claim for SSS or GSIS?
Yes. Your Payong ni Juan pays on top of any insurance/benefits you may have.

How can I pay for my ordered membership?

Available payment facility is PayPal where you can also pay using your credit card or debit card even if you do not have a PayPal account.

How long does it take to confirm my order?

Your order is confirmed once payment is completed or successful. Please check your email for the Order Confirmation and Activation.

What if I did not receive an e-mail confirmation?

Message us though the contact form in the Contact Us page. Do not forget to include your name and Order Number or connect with via our Facebook (Payong ni Juan) or Instagram (Payong ni Juan).

Can I change my order after it has been confirmed and paid for?

We suggest that you carefully review your orders in your cart before you click the “Place Order” as your order is already booked and sold once payment is completed and confirmed.

When I chose to ship a physical copy of my membership kit, what shall it include?

Your membership kit shall include the following:

  1. Certificate of Membership
  2. Dental Card

The PNThealth voucher and “how to use” guide shall be sent via email after membership activation.

What are your delivery options and how much is the shipping?

Should you wish to receive a physical copy of your membership kit, shipping fee applies at your own cost or additional cost to the membership plan cost.

Shipping is through our chosen courier and the rates are indicated before you proceed with your purchase/payment.

What should I do if my mail has not arrived?

I entered the wrong address, what should I do?
The delivery/shipping address must be a valid residential or office address – we do not ship to P.O. Box or parcel lockers. Unfortunately, the delivery address cannot be amended once the order has been paid.

In the event that the address is incorrect or overlooked, and the kit is already delivered by the courier to a wrong address, re-issuance shall be subject to a fee and you need to pay the corresponding shipping fee again.

What should I do if there is a delay in my mail of the kit?
Your mail is on standard shipping and will be delivered between 3-10 days for shipping within the Philippines.

Is the insurance protection benefit transferable?

No, the benefit is not transferable. The person named in the issued Certificate of Membership is the only person covered of the accident insurance benefits.

In case of claim on the insurance benefit, what should be done first? 
Notify Payong ni Juan team via our contact information so we can send you the corresponding claim form and list of requirements.

Before I proceeded with the purchase or payment of the membership, I was reminded of the list of risks not covered by the insurance or protection benefit of the membership. What are the risks/incidents that are not covered?

Here the general exclusions and the accidental death insurance exclusions:

General Exclusions

The Insurer (Bankers Assurance Corporation), our partner/provider, will not indemnify the Insured Member in respect of loss or damage directly or indirectly caused by:

  1. War, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities or warlike operations (whether war be declared or not), mutiny, riot, strike, lock-out, civil commotion, civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, martial law, state of siege, malicious acts by a group of persons or persons acting on behalf or in connection with any political organization, conspiracy, confiscation, commandeering, requisition or destruction or damage by order of any government de jure or de facto or by any public authority.
  2. Nuclear reaction, nuclear radiation or radioactive contamination.
  3. Willful act or negligence of the insured or his representatives.

Accidental Death Exclusions

The Insurer will not indemnify the Insured Member in respect of loss or damage directly or indirectly caused by:

  1. War, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities or warlike operations (whether war be declared or not), mutiny, riot, strike, lock-out, civil commotion, civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, martial law, state of siege, malicious acts by a group of persons or persons acting on behalf or in connection with any political organization, conspiracy, confiscation, commandeering, requisition or destruction or damage by order of any government de jure or de facto or by any public authority.
  2. Nuclear reaction, nuclear radiation or radioactive contamination,
  3. Willful act or negligence of the insured or his representatives,
  4. natural or health-related causes,
  5. medical or surgical treatment,
  6. pregnancy-related causes,
  7. suicide, or
  8. loss or injury sustained while under the influence of drug or alcohol.

What are the basic claim documents?

What is PNTHealth?
PNTHealth provides Patients with private and confidential medical consultations with our Nurses and Doctors via phone or video calls.

What do I need to begin my teleconsultation?
Member shall be asked of personal information and Membership Number. Don’t forget to inform your nurse or doctor that you are a Payong ni Juan member for easy checking of your membership.

If I experience a change in my health condition, has a fever or allergy, what should I do?
Text “CONSULT” to 0917 – 111 – PNTH (7684) and our Nurse Agents will call the you back in 5 – 10 minutes to take your general information and medical history. After assigning you to our Doctor, our Doctors will call you back to conduct the medical consultation.

What are the health conditions that can be consulted?

Can I use PNTHealth for emergency cases?
PNTHealth is designed to handle NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL ISSUES. If you think that your condition requires immediate medical attention and treatment or is emergency in nature, contact your local emergency services immediately.

Can I call PNTHealth any time of the day?
PNTHealth consultation hours are from 24 hours/day, 7 days a week.

Who handles the calls and consultations?
All triage and medical consultations are performed by qualified, licensed, and registered medical nurses and doctors.

Can I choose my own Doctor?
Doctors’ online hours vary. Follow up by the same Doctor can be scheduled. You may request this via our Nurses.

Can I ask my doctor for a house call or physical check-up?
This benefit DO NOT INCLUDE in-person check-up, house calls, or doing laboratory tests.

Are there PNTHealth HMO, hospital, clinic, or laboratory affiliates?
PNTHealth is currently not affiliated with any HMO provider, hospital, clinic, or laboratory.

What are the dental care services that I can avail under my membership? 

Below is the complete list of the COVERED dental services that can be availed in your nearest IWC accredited dental clinics:

DENTAL CARE SERVICES:

  • Simple Tooth Extraction, except surgery for impaction (unlimited/maximum of 3 teeth per day)
  • One (1) Oral Prophylaxis (mild to moderate)
  • Temporary Fillings, maximum of 3 teeth per year
  • Adjustment of denture
  • Recementation of jacket crown inlays and on lays
  • Medication and/or prescription for dental pain
  • Treatment of dental related pain excluding cost of prescribed medicines
  • Emergency desensitization of hypersensitive teeth
  • Annual dental examination
  • Orthodontic and Aesthetic and dental consultation
  • Lightcure/permanent filling (one teeth surface)
  • Up to to 30% discount on other dental services beyond member’s coverage (Dentist discretion)
    • Braces
    • Dentures/Jacket
    • Root Canal and others

Availment is ONLY in IWC WELLNESS AND PREVENTIVE CONSULTANCY, INC. accredited dental clinics. No reimbursement of any sort shall be honored for any availment in non-accredited dental providers.

If I wish to consult a dentist for a dental concern, what should I do first?

Choose your preferred accredited dentist from the directory of dentists. Call the dentist and schedule an appointment.

What should I bring when I go to my dentist?

Do not forget to save the soft copy of your dental card in your phone for your convenience.

If you have requested for a physical copy of your card, you may also bring the physical card with you. Also, do not forget to bring a valid ID with your photo on it.

Go to your dentist on the scheduled date and time.

Can my son or daughter avail of my dental benefits as well?

The dental benefit (same with the Insurance Benefit and Telehealth Services) is not transferable. Only the named person or member is qualified for the dental benefits. If you wish to have your children or family of the same benefits, you need to purchase memberships to be activated under their names.

I have a gum problem which requires surgery, will it be covered?

Gum surgery is NOT COVERED under the dental care services. However, you may ask a discount from your accredited dentist (at the dentist’ discretion).

After my oral prophylaxis, my dentist suggested filling of some of my defective teeth to avoid possible decay and asked me to pay additional amount for such service. Do I have to pay for it?

The dental care benefit includes only ONE (1) SURFACE permanent filling. If more than one surface permanent filling was rendered, you should pay for the excess charge.

It is still good to know that your dentist is concerned about your dental health as you are.
